NoiseNinja exists for Linux, so it's reasonable to assume that AfterShot includes it on all platforms. It's a fully functional product that works for 30 days without buying it.Ībelits wrote: Does NoiseNinja come with the Linux version? IOW, just download the trial version of AfterShot Pro, install it and see how well it works for you. But, I'd try the built in standard NR features as a first step to see how well it works with your camera's noise pattern before determining if you really need the more advanced NR features or not. There are also some free third party plugins for Noise Reduction available for AfterShot Pro. Plugging in that license key i(which will cost you $34.95) into AfterShot Pro unlocks the more advanced Noise Ninja features built into it. Just send an e-mail to support1 AT about it. Just send them an e-mail about it and you'll get a response indicating that you can still buy it from them. It's not available for purchase on their web site, but you can pay for it via paypal if desired, and they'll send you the license key for it when they receive your payment for it. They've got a new product called Photo Ninja now that took it's place.īut, if you send them an e-mail, they'll tell you that you can still buy a license key for the stand alone Home Version of Noise Ninja for $34.95 just by letting them know you want it. Now, PictureCode (the developer of Noise Ninja) recently stopped marketing that product on their web site. That license key is all you need to unlock the more advanced NR features built in to AfterShot Pro So, you can use the two types of NR independently of each other.īut, you can also unlock more advanced features that are part of the Noise Ninja code included in AfterShot Pro (like separate controls for chroma and luminous NR, ability to profile NR based on a photo's noise pattern, etc.) with a stand alone home license key for Noise Ninja (which runs $34.95). With AfterShot Pro, you have some basis Noise Ninja features built in as standard (separate from the NR already built in that works at the RAW level). See my post about NR in AfterShot Pro here:
